Stefi: Week 4 in Lisbon

My last week in Lisbon was filled with memorable moments. Work at Lisbon Bike Tours continued smoothly, with my final tours and ensuring everything was in top shape. We had a little celebration in a nice bar to say goodbye, and we made a commitment to stay in touch.

Earlier in the week, I visited a Brazilian bar, which was a nice experience. Because of their similar languages and cultures, which make integration and adaptation easier, many Brazilians are moving to Portugal. In addition, Portugal is more stable politically, has stronger economic prospects, and has a higher standard of living than Brazil.

Midweek, I went to Parque de Merendas with a colleague for a small meal. It was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature, providing a peaceful break in the middle of a busy week.

Later, a friend invited me to a jazz night. During the jazz night, we not only enjoyed listening to the soulful music but also watched a friend perform an impressive guitar solo. The evening was especially memorable and wonderful because of the live performance and nice atmosphere.

On Friday, I had dinner at a typical Portuguese restaurant with a friend and Gabriela. The food was delicious making it a delightful last evening for Gabi.

Saturday was important because I moved into my new apartment. I decided to stay ten more days because I really like this city. The new place feels perfect for my longer stay, and I am excited to explore more.

To cap off the week, I spent a sunny day at the beach in Sesimbra with friends. The serene waves and warm weather were the ideal way to end my incredible time in Lisbon. This city has truly captivated me, and I'm grateful for all the wonderful experiences and friendships I've made.

Lisbon has surprised and delighted me at every turn. With ten more days to explore, I look forward to more adventures and unforgettable memories in this beautiful city.
