Better later than never, you will now hear about my 2nd week in Barcelona. So much happened, so many memories were created that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
There were also some experiences in my work. As I work in a language school, I was offered the chance to attend Spanish language courses in the mornings. In the afternoon, I had to work, but there were also some excursions organised by the language school that I was allowed to take part in. I was responsible for taking photos for their social media accounts. The 3 excursions I took part in this week were a trip to the MNAC museum and afterwards we cooled ourselves off in the Montjuic swimming pool. I also went to the open-air cinema on the beach, where my friends accompanied me. A highlight of the week's excursions was a catamaran ride on the sea.
We also visited and experienced a lot outside of work. At the weekend, we decided to explore Barcelona's nightlife and visited a club. This was very fun, except for the fact that Sophia's mobile phone was stolen.
One of my highlights of the week was the Bunkers del Carmel. I can't get that moment out of my head. We sat above the rooftops of Barcelona and enjoyed the view over the city at night. Of course, we also had something to eat and drink with us ;)
On Thursday, we went to the open-air cinema where I had to take photos for work. I liked this very much too. It was such a cool atmosphere there because all the people got together on the beach and you sat there watching the sunset. However, I understood rather less of the film 😂. From Friday to Saturday, we went to another disco.
Sunday was the day we had all been waiting for weeks! The trip to Costa Brava was on the programme in order to explore the underwater world of Spain. Therefore, we went to Tamarihu to do a diving course. This was a very cool experience and I was even able to see an octopus and numerous other animals. After our diving course, we spent the rest of the day at the beach. This was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in my life because it made me feel like I was in a Mamma Mia movie. All in all, it was a very eventful weekend.
You can read more about week 3 in my next blog entry ;)- Hasta pronto!
