Our second week in Barcelona started off much more relaxed — we were finally getting used to the new routine. By now, the city felt a bit more familiar, and we were becoming more confident navigating the streets, public transport, and daily life. Work at the sports studio is going well, and I feel like I’m settling into my role. The tasks are becoming easier to manage, and I’m getting faster and more creative with the social media content. I’m also building stronger connections with my colleagues, which makes everything more enjoyable.
However, this week wasn’t all smooth sailing. Unfortunately, I got sick midweek and had to go to the hospital. What was supposed to be a quick visit turned into a five-hour ordeal — a long wait, paperwork, and a lot of sitting around. It wasn’t the most pleasant experience, but I was really grateful for the support from my classmates and the helpful staff at the hospital. In the end, I got the treatment I needed and started feeling better the next day.
Despite that little setback, we still made the most of our time here. We continued exploring after work — trying out local cafés, walking along the beach, and even catching a beautiful sunset one evening. It’s nice to see how our daily routine is slowly taking shape and how we’re adapting to life in a new city.
The days are flying by, and I’m already excited to see what next week brings — hopefully with a little less time in waiting rooms!
