Week 4 in Barcelona – A Bittersweet Goodbye

And just like that, my four weeks in Barcelona have come to an end. The last few days at work were quite relaxed, and I managed to finish all my tasks on time. On Friday, my colleagues gave me such a warm farewell, and it honestly left me with really good memories of my time there.

That evening, the four of us spent one last cozy night together, chatting and laughing about everything that had happened during these weeks. Before we knew it, it was already 2 a.m. – but it was worth every minute.

On Saturday, we went to the beach one final time to soak up the sun, and in the evening we treated ourselves to a nice dinner followed by drinks at a rooftop bar. It was the perfect way to wrap up our stay – good food, good views, and good company. After that, it was time to pack, which definitely made it all feel real.

Sunday came faster than expected. At noon, our flight took off back to Munich, where my brother picked us up. It feels strange to be back home already, but I’m leaving Barcelona with nothing but great memories, new experiences, and the wish to return again soon.
