Veronika K: A Hot Goodbye

This week marks our last days here in Malta and it has been just as amazing as the weeks before.

This week is the hottest week we’ve had so far. We’re really grateful for the air conditioning, especially after long days outside.

In Marsaskala, the town where we live, there’s a huge festival this weekend with music and even fireworks. It’s the perfect way to end our time here and celebrate everything we’ve experienced.

I’m really happy that I took this chance to go abroad and get to know another culture. I’ve learned so much about myself, worked on my confidence and independence, and I would recommend this experience to anyone who has the chance to do it too.

Of course, I’m also looking forward to going home and seeing everyone again – but Malta will always have a special place in my memories.
