Rosa: Wait, What? A Whole Month Already?!

I blinked once. Just once. And somehow... the month is already over. Time really flew by – I feel like I just arrived!
In my last blog, I told you about our Saturday in Sitges. But the weekend wasn’t over yet. On Sunday, we took a trip to Blanes, a small and beautiful town about two hours from Barcelona.
And wow – it was so stunning there. When we arrived, the beach was completely full – not even a tiny quiet spot left. So instead of staying there, we decided to walk a bit further. Well... we ended up hiking for 45 minutes in the sun to get to some cliffs. It wasn’t the easiest walk, but totally worth it.
Once we reached the cliffs, I could hardly believe how beautiful it was. The sea was incredibly clear – probably because the sand there is coarser than in Barcelona, so it doesn’t mix into the water as much. We relaxed, enjoyed the view, and in the end, Vanessa and I even went cliff jumping.
It was such an unforgettable experience – one of those moments I’ll always remember.
The trip back, however... not so fun. Even though we found seats on the train, it was unbelievably hot and completely packed. Two long hours later, when we finally got off, it felt amazing to breathe fresh air again.
Monday was way more relaxed – we picked up some takeaway food from a few restaurants and had a little picnic on the beach. Super chill.
Tuesday, we visited the Bunkers del Carmel. The view over the whole city was absolutely worth the walk – I definitely recommend it!
Wednesday, we planned to take it easy, but ended up finding a cute jewelry shop with a “3 + 1 free” deal. One hour and many sparkly things later, we walked out very happy.
Today, it’s raining – a good moment to sit down and reflect on the past few weeks.
These four weeks have been truly amazing. The work was great, and my colleagues were super friendly and fun.
Outside of work, we explored so many beautiful places. If I had to pick my highlights, I’d say the sunrise swim for Moritz’s birthday and our day in Blanes.
I’m really thankful I got to experience all this – and if you ever get the chance to do something like this: go for it! I can totally recommend it.
