Time flies – I’m already writing my second blog! I didn’t think I’d get used to this so quickly, but it’s starting to feel pretty normal (and even a bit fun). So, here we go again.
The new work schedule we made is working really well. We decided that each of us gets one shift: morning, midday, and afternoon, and then the circle starts again. It’s simple, but effective.
Personally, I love the morning shift the most. Why? Because mornings are busy! I get to help the kids with the stand-up paddles, which is actually more fun than it sounds. And the best part? After working in the morning, I have the whole afternoon free! Usually, I go to the beach, hit the gym, or just relax at the pool. Not a bad life, right?
In the evenings, we always go to the city together – shopping, exploring, and admiring all the beautiful things Barcelona is famous for. On Friday evening, we met three girls from Mondsee (my hometown), who are also working in Barcelona. Small world! We hung out at the beach and had long chats – they’ll probably visit us on Wednesday.
But the real highlight of the week? Saturday! My friend Moritz had his 18th birthday. We partied all night and, believe it or not, went swimming in the sea at sunrise. It was magical – a moment I’ll never forget.
Of course, we were super tired after that, but the show must go on: in the evening, we watched a flamenco show – so cool! The dresses, the music – real Spanish vibes. Afterwards, we had delicious paella – my first one here!
Now? Totally exhausted… but really happy.
Until next time!
