Nico: The end is near!

On Monday in 3 days I will fly home to Austria again, how fast time passed... 

The goal for this week was to make the most of the last few days here. I think I did an acceptable job. While I spent Monday recovering from the Illness I had last week, I  started out on Tuesday again. I did a bit of sightseeing in the less touristic district “Gracìa”, which I enjoyed since it was

different from the rest of the city. After I finished work on Wednesday, I went to visit “Bunkers del Carmel”, a former anti-aircraft position which has now been transformed into a viewpoint over the city and got quite touristy, even though getting there can be a challenge, especially if you choose to try it without public transport. I was quite impressed by the area in general, as it is built into a steep hill and I can just imagen how tricky driving a car can get there. However the hike up was definitely worth it as the views were more than breathtaking.  

Right now we are thinking about what to do on the weekend to make them worthy last days in Barcelona. We are probably going to end up in some club again and I hope we’ll go to the beach once or twice.  

As these were the last words to read from me, I want to say thank you for reading my blog posts and also thanks to Mr. Crewe for making this unforgettable experience possible, I’d definitely do it again and can recommend it to all of you, also the City Barcelona.
