The third week in Barcelona was full of fun and little adventures. We tried to go out as often as possible and spent a lot of time at the beach. One day at work, my colleagues, my boss, and I cooked a Paella together. Before that, we went to the market to buy seafood. Normally, I don’t eat seafood, so I was surprised that it tasted really good!
While cooking, we laughed a lot and talked together. We also had to take photos and videos for my company’s social media account – of course, the Paella was the star of the show!
One evening, we decided very spontaneously to walk up to Montjuïc. The sun was already going down, but we still went. We laughed, took a lot of pictures, and enjoyed the walk. But we didn’t think about the time – it was already late, and the park was closed! So, we just walked around a bit, watched the sunset, and talked a lot.
On the way back, it was already dark. There were no people and no cars – it felt a bit creepy, like in a horror movie! Then we suddenly heard a loud noise, like something falling or breaking – that really scared us. But as they say: all’s well that ends well. We finally got to the bus stop, even though the bus was very late. After midnight, we arrived home safely – and we laughed a lot about the whole situation.
Barcelona is full of surprises – next time I’ll bring a flashlight and a map, just in case!
