Lukas M: Goodbye Barcelona… 1 1/2h late

Four weeks have gone by so fast, so now I’m writing my final blog entry.
In our last week we didn’t do that much. We checked off some of our last spots we wanted to visit and relaxed a bit. Pia's family came to visit and on Friday we even accompanied them to the airport, so we got a taste of what we were going to go through on the following Monday.
On Monday we took an Uber to the airport which took around 50 minutes. When we arrived, the check-in queue for our airline was pretty long, but no worries we got through it roughly 20 minutes. The security line was even longer though, but to our surprise it took even less time to get through it than the check-in queue because the line was moving relatively fast.
After boarding the plane late, the real surprise hit us. The captain told us we would have to wait for up to 1 1/2 hours because of the weather conditions in the alps, and due to this we wouldn’t easily get a flight clearance by the air traffic control. At the end we arrived roughly 50 minutes later than expected in Salzburg.
Barcelona was a nice experience I’m sure not to forget. ¡Hasta luego, Barcelona!
