Lena R: Life in Barcelona

Holaaa!

Now this is what I expected living in Spain to be like… This week I went to the beach or at least the pool every day after work and I really enjoyed it because in the afternoon you can just relax outside without it being absolutely exhausting to stay in the sun for longer than 10 minutes.☀️

Yesterday I had to work in the evening and as you can imagine I wasn’t thrilled at first but it turned out to be the best work day so far. I was at the rooftop bar of our hotel and all the people up there were very relaxed and I asked them some questions for my survey but also had so many other interesting conversations with people from all over the world. Yesterday evening really showed me that work doesn’t have to be serious all the time and you could just feel the good energy of the guests but also the barkeeper and everybody was enjoying the warm summer evening!🍸

For whatsoever reason my voice started cracking here and there during the night but I didn’t expect it to be completely gone when waking up this morning... So, I now sadly have to spend this day - but hopefully not the whole weekend - in bed and hope that I'll be able to at least go outside for a bit very soon again😷

It's so crazy that next week is already the last week here in Barcelona and I need to tick some remaining things off my bucket list. All in all I really feel at home here by now and actually start loving this city more and more everyday because there is always something new and beautiful to discover.

I am really looking forward to this last week and to creating new memories here in Barcelona!
