Lea: Our Journey to Lisbon!

On Saturday, our adventure started at 3 PM when we left Salzburg by car and drove all the way to Munich. Everything was going fine—until we got to the airport. Our flight was supposed to leave at 7:30 PM… but of course, it got delayed. A lot. We finally took off at 10 PM and landed in Lisbon at 1 in the morning.

But it didn’t stop there. We still had to wait for a taxi (which felt like forever), and we only arrived at our apartment at 3 AM. Exhausted—but wow, it was totally worth it. The apartment is perfect. It’s super big, modern, and honestly just beautiful. I couldn’t believe this was where we’d be living for a month now!

The next day we all slept in (obviously) and later went grocery shopping. After that, we started exploring the city a bit and got our first impressions of Lisbon—it’s such a charming and lively place! In the evening, around 11 PM, Matteo and Marton finally arrived with their flight. They came straight to our place where we had homemade pizza (so good!) and celebrated Marlies’ birthday. It was such a cozy and fun night!

On Monday, we had our first meeting with the agency and introduced ourselves to the companies where we’ll be working. But lucky us—we didn’t have to start working just yet! So, we took the chance and spontaneously went to Cascais. It was such a cute town and we also went swimming in the sea (even though the water was freezing). We stayed until about 9 PM and then headed back home, completely tired but super happy.
