Hi everyone!
Another week of our Erasmus+ adventure has flown by, and somehow we've already reached our last day here in Sevilla. Time really does fly when you're having fun and when it's 40°C outside.
A Weekend Escape to Cádiz
Last weekend, Isabella and I decided to take a break from the city and visit Cádiz. It was the perfect place to relax after a busy first week at work.
Well... the temperature was "only" 24°C in Cádiz, and thanks to the strong wind, I spent most of the day freezing. It's funny how your body adapts, after a week in Seville, 24 degrees suddenly felt like winter! Even swimming in the sea didn't warm me up.
Despite becoming a human popsicle, Cádiz was absolutely beautiful, and it was nice to spend a relaxing day by the ocean. If you want another perspective on our beach trip, make sure to read Isabella's blog post!

One More Visitor
On Sunday, our friend Lion, who is spending his Erasmus+ stay in Málaga, came to visit us. It was great to catch up, show him around a little, and enjoy a nice meal together.
It's funny how Erasmus+ not only lets you experience a new country but also gives you the chance to meet up with friends in completely different cities.

Our Final Day at Work
Friday was our last day in the jewellery shop, and I can't believe how quickly these two weeks have passed.
One of my favourite parts of the placement was creating content for the shop's social media. We came up with lots of creative ideas and filmed plenty of TikTok videos. Let's just hope one of them goes viral... otherwise, at least we had fun making them!
Football Nights
Whenever we had some time, our roommates Emily and Paula joined us to watch the football matches for the 2026 World Cup. It was super fun to support Spain and hearing so many fans cheer before our window whenever a goal was made by them.
Seville After Dark
One of my favourite evenings was Thursday, when the four of us went out together. Seeing Seville at night was completely different from during the day. The streets were full of people, the city was beautifully lit, and luckily, it was finally cool enough to walk around without melting.

Saving the Best for Last
Today, Saturday, is our last full day here in Seville, and we still had one famous place left on our to-do list: Plaza de España.
We started the day with a relaxed breakfast before finally visiting one of Seville's most iconic landmarks. It definitely lived up to the hype and was the perfect place to take some final photos.
Afterwards, it was time for the less enjoyable part of the day: packing our suitcases. Somehow, they seemed much bigger when we arrived than they do now. Maybe Spanish snacks and souvenirs take up more space than we thought...

Tomorrow, we'll fly back home. It's hard to believe that our Erasmus+ adventure is already over!
These two weeks have been full of unforgettable memories, new friendships, and lots of laughter. I'm so grateful for this experience and can't wait to see where my next adventure takes me.
Hasta Luego, Sevilla!
