Kübra: When work feels like a vacation :)

Have I already told you how much I love my work? To refresh your memory: I work at CIEE Barcelona, which offers study abroad programs for students from the USA.

At the beginning of this week, I edited four videos for Instagram, which will be posted over the next few weeks. This was actually really fun because it was a completely different task from what I had been doing so far. The following day, new students from the US arrived, and we organized a small snack buffet for them so they could relax a bit after spending hours on the plane. That day at work was all about talking to people and getting to know them — which, again, was super fun!

My highlight of the week was definitely the day trip I went on with CIEE to Tossa de Mar, a beautiful beach town on the Costa Brava. Before heading there, we visited the Gardens of Santa Clotilde in Lloret de Mar, which were also stunning. Honestly, there’s nothing better than a work day that consists of nothing but going on a trip and discovering new places!
