Kübra: The end to a great story

Time flies fast, they said – though I never could have imagined it flies that fast. The last four weeks have been so wonderful that I wish I could relive them from the very beginning. Working abroad has taught me more than I ever expected – not just professionally, but personally too.

This past week was all about picking out little gifts for my family – and of course, a few things for myself as souvenirs. We also made time to visit the last few sightseeing spots. Montjuïc, with its stunning views over the city, was definitely a highlight. One morning, we even got up early to watch the sunrise at the beach – a peaceful and unforgettable moment.

Turns out, saying goodbye to Barcelona is not that easy after all. This city has given me so much: sunshine, vibrant culture, delicious food – and memories that I’ll carry with me forever. But what I’ll miss the most is my workplace. I’ve met such kind and inspiring colleagues during my internship. From the very first day, they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like a true part of the team. Their warmth, support, and positive energy created a work environment I’ll never forget. Before I left, they made me promise that I’ll visit them the next time I come back to Barcelona – and I absolutely will.

Now, as I pack my suitcase and look back on these weeks, I feel grateful. It’s truly the end to a great story – but maybe not the last chapter.
