Kerem: Week 4 – The Final Chapter

Last week – and the last time you’ll hear from me!It’s hard to believe that four weeks have already gone by and that we’ve reached the end of our Erasmus adventure. As I write this final blog post, it still hasn’t fully sunk in. Time flew by, and although I’m looking forward to getting back into my daily routine (for two weeks, at least), I’m also excited for the well-deserved summer holiday that awaits.
I started Monday feeling motivated and determined to make the most of my final week. On both Monday and Tuesday, I had the opportunity to speak with the owners of the company and present the work I had completed during my internship. Everything went smoothly, and I was really happy to hear that they were more than satisfied with my contributions.
On Wednesday and Thursday, I helped out with some of the maintenance and cleaning tasks around the escape rooms, which tend to get quite messy after each group. Although these jobs weren’t the most exciting, I was glad to support the team however I could.
After work, I didn’t do much else this week, which I now slightly regret. Still, I’m planning to make the most of the weekend by enjoying Barcelona one last time before packing everything up.
Today (Friday), I met Vicente, the manager at Golden Pop, near the Sagrada Família to officially say goodbye. It was a nice way to end the experience on a personal note.
Looking back, I can say with confidence that I’m more than satisfied with this entire journey. I’ve learned a lot, grown both personally and professionally, and created memories I’ll never forget.
Thank you for following along – until next time!
