Now that the third week of my stay has come to an end, I can confidently say that it has been the most relaxed one so far. As I mentioned in my previous blog entry, I spent the entire week with my parents, who came to visit me here in Barcelona.
On Monday, I was allowed to work from home so I could spend more time with them. We made the most of the day by exploring several beautiful parts of the city, including Parc de la Ciutadella, the Barri Gòtic, and other historic areas. It was a great opportunity to see more of Barcelona's rich cultural heritage together.
The following days at work were much more demanding, as we had a higher number of customers visiting the escape rooms. Because of this, I was only able to join my parents in the evenings. Nevertheless, we always made the most of our time, enjoying dinner at some of the most renowned and luxurious restaurants in the city. The food in Barcelona truly is exceptional.
Throughout the week, I stayed at my parents' apartment, which was a bit more comfortable and cooler than our Airbnb flat. It was nice to have a change of pace and enjoy a bit of extra comfort while still balancing work responsibilities.
Unfortunately, my parents returned home on Saturday. Still, it wasn’t too upsetting, as I only have one more week left here. My classmates and I spent most of the weekend relaxing at home, watching a few football matches together and enjoying some downtime.
Just one week to go – time really flies!
