Kerem K: A rollercoaster of a week

We’ve now reached the third week, and looking back, I can already say that the second week was by far the worst of the four. It all started with what I thought was a brilliant idea: dyeing my hair. Four hours later, the result was nothing short of a disaster. Total catastrophe. Since then, I’ve been wearing a cap pretty much all the time. I’ll spare you the exact details of how it happened – honestly, it’s better for both of us.

But things didn’t exactly improve from there. From Tuesday on, I started feeling pretty flu-ish, which meant I had to work from home for a day. Luckily, I felt much better the next day and was able to stick to the training plan my coach had sent me. Staying fit is still important, even while I’m here.

One of the clear highlights of the week was our visit to Camp Nou – the legendary Barcelona stadium. They’ve got a massive fan store there, and of course I couldn’t resist picking up a jersey. Totally worth it.

Friday and Saturday were also great – we celebrated Moritz’s birthday, and my parents arrived in Barcelona. I spent the rest of the weekend with them, exploring some of the most beautiful places the city has to offer.

All in all, it was a week full of ups and downs – a real rollercoaster. Two more weeks to go!
