Our second week in Malta has been full of exciting moments and new experiences.
One of the highlights at work this week was the arrival of some adorable new puppies. Three of them are still very small, these tiny babies instantly melted our hearts. The other two are a little older but just as sweet. They were recently rescued and are now getting the care and love they deserve. Working with the dogs has been incredibly rewarding, and it's amazing to see how quickly they start to trust and enjoy their new surroundings.
Outside of work, we’ve continued to enjoy Malta´s great weather. We spent a lot of time at the beach, swimming, relaxing, and just lying in the sun.
On Friday, we took a trip to Valletta, the capital city of Malta. It was a great way to explore more of the island’s culture and history. We visited both the Upper and Lower Barrakka Gardens, which offered stunning views of the Grand Harbour and were the perfect spots for some great photos. We wandered through the charming streets of the city, enjoyed the atmosphere, and ended the evening with delicious pizza at an Italian restaurant. Afterward, we discovered a couple of cozy little bars where we finished the night with some drinks.
It’s been another memorable week full of new impressions, and we’re already looking forward to what week three will bring!
