Irem: Week 2 in Barcelona and Family Time

My second week in Barcelona has been full of exciting moments and a good balance between work and personal life. At work, I was involved in helping with the preparations for an upcoming theater performance. It was great to be part of the behind-the-scenes process — setting up, organizing props, and assisting with whatever was needed. I really enjoyed the creative atmosphere and the teamwork that goes into bringing a show to life.

The highlight of the week, however, was the weekend. My parents came to visit, and it was so special to have them here. We spent the weekend exploring the city together. From strolling through the Gothic Quarter to enjoying the views from Park Güell, we tried to see as much as we could. We also had some delicious meals — tapas, of course — and enjoyed the vibrant energy of Barcelona. It was lovely to share this part of my experience with them and show them around this amazing city I’m starting to call home.
