Fiona: Don’t Ask Me for Directions!

I was scrolling through TikTok when I came across a super cool place to visit with my friends: Bubble Planet !
Up until this week, it was always my friends who figured out how to get us to our destinations. So i thought now it was my turn. Confidently, I took over the navigation for Eraa, Agnesa, and myself.
If you've read my first blog, you probably already know that navigating is not one of my strengths.
We got off the metro, and according to the directions, we were only 5 minutes away. That’s when I started to get a bad feeling. The area really didn’t look like the kind of place where a museum would be. My friends were confused too, but I told them, “Trust me! We’re almost there!”
Three... two... one minute left to our destination.
“We’ve arrived!” my phone announced.
But instead of standing in front of Bubble Planet, we were standing in front of Bubble Tea.
What can I say? Everybody makes mistakes. To this day, my friends never let me navigate again. Honestly, I’m fine with that - there is less stress for me!
But here’s my question: Why is it okay for some people to be bad at playing football, but I'm not allowed to be bad at navigating?
