Last week, Hannah and I flew to Barcelona with our boyfriends. We were so excited to finally start our adventure. At the beginning of the trip, Hannah was unfortunately sick, so we were a little worried. Luckily, she recovered very quickly after a few days, and soon we were able to enjoy everything together.
During our first few days, we spent a lot of time exploring the city and shopping. Barcelona has so many beautiful shops, cute cafés, and great restaurants. We love walking through the small streets because there is always something new to see. The city is so beautiful, and we have already fallen in love with it.
I also started my internship at a leather shop, where I work in social media research. The shop is really beautiful, and I enjoy my tasks because they are interesting and creative.
Since I don’t start work until 10:30 a.m., I have enough time in the morning to go for a run or work out at the gym. It’s a great way to start the day before going to work.
One of our favorite places is the rooftop pool at our student residence. The beach is nice, but it is usually very crowded and windy, so we often choose to relax by the pool instead.
One day, we visited the Bunkers del Carmel, where you can see the whole city from above. The view was amazing, and it was one of our favorite moments so far.
Yesterday, our boyfriends flew back home. We had a great time together, but now Hannah and I are excited to spend the next few weeks in Barcelona on our own. Our best friends are also coming to visit us this week, so we have even more to look forward to.
I’m very happy with how the first few days have gone. I’m excited to keep exploring Barcelona, meet new people, and make more great memories over the next few weeks.
