Amelie K: One Last Week to Remember

This week was packed again with beach, going out and delicious food. 🌴

On Wednesday, we jumped right into the nightlife: Bling Bling in the VIP area of a club. With free admission and a free bottle, the evening was bound to be a good one. It was one of those evenings where you don't even notice how late it's getting because everything was just perfect.

On Friday evening, we had our company dinner, which was also our farewell to the company. We went to a top restaurant, the food was really good and we were finally able to chat with our colleagues in peace. Afterwards, we all went to a bar where there were almost only locals. For Rui and me, it was an exciting contrast to the typical tourist clubs – and to be honest, we liked it much better. The atmosphere was more relaxed and authentic.

On Saturday evening, we went to another club, this time the Shôko Club, which is supposedly one of the top 10 clubs in the world. I couldn't quite understand why that was, but maybe I was just a little tired from the last few days.

Sunday was time to say goodbye: we had dinner with everyone from the Airbnb, ate together again, chatted and reminisced a little. It was a nice, quiet end to the trip. The boys moved on to the party area later, but Rui and I preferred to take it easy as we had to get up early on Monday. We ended the evening relaxing on the beach.

In between, we always used the days to unwind, chill out a lot, hang out on the beach, go for walks and do some shopping. The week had a really good mix of action and relaxation.

All in all, it was a great time that I will never forget and that I can really recommend to everyone. You learn so many things about yourself and others that you probably would never have experienced otherwise.

I am definitely very grateful to have had these experiences.
