Agnesa K: My last week in Barcelona

On my last week in Barcelona, it felt like I had lived there forever and was extremely sad that I knew I had to leave soon.
We still did as much as we could to appreciate our time there. Every day after six hours of work we went outside and had the time of our lives. We did all those things that were in our mind (which wasn’t much because we had enough time to see everything we needed).
Randomly we decided to go to the Montjüic Castle by foot at maybe 4 p.m.. Then we didn’t know what we were about to face. It took us a while to get there because we made so many stops to take pictures and see other things in between. When we got to the castle it was already closed but we decided to walk around it. As time went by it was already dark and we were only half way around the castle, so we decided to head back home another way around, which wasn’t our best idea because we quickly figured out that this path was longer and really scary to walk by foot.
There were no cars, people or lights around. One time we saw the figure of a man in the dark and were really scared but we managed to walk by him without getting harmed and finally reached a street with light but still no cars or bus stations. We had to walk a good amount until we got to the main street and could hop on a bus that took us to our apartment.
So instead of doing a 3-to-4-hour trip we weren’t home until 11 p.m..
