Adem: RIP 120€

Soo, basically everyone’s first week (also the second) has finished, and I guess I have to write about my first week(and half of the second) in France.
A lot has happened – that’s why I waited, in case there was something interesting I wanted to share with y’all.
Anyway, so imagine being awake for over 35 hours on the first day.
Yeah, Alejandro and I had to deal with our sleepless day, doodling our way through the airport in Munich at 3 a.m. Yep, that was exhausting.
After we kinda managed everything, we arrived in Toulouse.
We first had the meeting, where he and I were soaking wet, since it was 40 degrees or something.
As time passed, we lowkey fell in love with Toulouse – just because of how calm, young, and lovely this city feels.
Everyone is so respectful: every time they get on the bus, they say Bonjour, and every time they get off, there’s an Au revoir and a Merci. Also my work is soo good, I feel very comfortable in my work and it’s so nice to work there (Will tell more in my next post)
Soo, if everything was pitch perfect… why RIP 120€?
Actually, it’s more than that.
I love Toulouse – I said that, right?
But living here is actually expensive. Too expensive.
(That doesn’t mean you guys shouldn’t visit Toulouse.)
But I hadn’t imagined how different it is here.
Nonetheless, what happened with the 120€?
Soooooo, keeping it short: it was a fine for not buying a ticket 😇.

Basically, we were visiting Nice on our weekend (btw, best time there), and we wanted to keep it cheap.
And karma hit us back with a 60€ fine – each.
Yeah… still would’ve done it again.
Anyway, this week the French courses are starting.
Alejandro and I already changed our levels, since A2 was a bit too easy.
And that’s it!
I’ll update you next week – this weekend we’ll be in Barcelona.
Let’s see what kind of things happen there.
