HAK1 Works Abroad 2025 is GO!

On Friday, we held our annual training day – a final opportunity to check all paperwork, make sure participants are prepared for their first day at work, practise writing blog posts, and review emergency procedures.

This year, we have 40 participants heading to Copenhagen, Barcelona, Malta, Mallorca, Lisbon, Toulouse, and Florence.

The first group flew out on Friday afternoon to begin settling into Barcelona ahead of their placements starting on Monday. Although there are still some accommodation issues to resolve (and don’t miss Lorenz’s blog post about his nightmare journey and abandoned bicycle!), overall things are off to a positive start.
