HAK Works Abroad: new name, new logo, same opportunities

Our Erasmus+ programme has a new name and a new logo. Following the merger of HAK1 Salzburg and hak:zwei to form the new school HAK Salzburg from September, HAK1 Works Abroad will now become HAK Works Abroad.

The change reflects the new identity of our school, but the aim of the programme remains exactly the same: giving our students the chance to gain real work experience abroad, improve their language skills and become more confident, independent young people.

This summer, 45 students will travel abroad for internships of one month or more, funded by Erasmus+, the European Union’s youth mobility programme. They will work in companies and organisations across Europe, experiencing everyday working life in another country and developing valuable skills for their future careers.

The new logo keeps the familiar “works abroad” design and colour, but now represents the whole of HAK Salzburg. The arrow, taken from the new HAK Salzburg logo, also suggests movement, progress and the international journey our students are beginning. It marks the next step in a project that has already helped many students discover what they are capable of beyond the classroom — and beyond Austria.
